Studs Partners With Playboy for Y2K-era Collection
Approved by Creative Director Cardi B.
New York-based jewelry label Studs has just teamed up with iconic brand Playboy for an early 2000’s-inspired collection. The 14-piece assortment of gilded earrings includes pavé rabbit heads and cell phone charms, alongside keys and padlocks, channeling the joy and carefree energy of our early aughts girlhood.
For those who love to stack their ears, Studs deliver curated sets. The Flirty Playboy features a summer-ready flower, a pink rabbit head earring, not to mention, an open heart and butterfly. Meanwhile, the Edgy Playboy Set lives up to its name, offering a mini skull, a statement-making chain to connect the studs, as well as a bold paper clip option for the iconic rabbit.
Studs x Playboy’s campaign does not shy away from Y2K’s love of bold self-expression as Playboy Playmates Carolina Ballesteros and Gillian Chan show off their accessories in a kitschy bubblegum pink bedroom, complete with era-appropriate flip phones, fuzzy pens and of course, a live white bunny for good measure.
Take a look at the fun-loving campaign in the gallery above. Retailing for $25 to $40 USD, all earrings are available on Stud’s online store.
