AMI Paris and Alan Crocetti Embrace Love with Heart-Shaped Jewelry
Paying homage to Alexandre Mattiussi’s signature Ami de Couer motif.
AMI and Brazilian-born, London-based jewelry designer Alan Crocetti teamed up for a super sweet collaboration that cements AMI’s renown Ami de Couer motif in jewelry form. Celebrating the brand’s signature “A” logo, the pair developed a range of unisex necklaces, bracelets, rings and more.
“I have been following Alan’s creations for some time now. His universe is unique, very personal and sexy, I love his extremely well-designed work,” notes Mattiussi in a statement. “I wanted AMI’s new collection to feature an elegant line of jewelry, simple yet with a strong identity. Together with Alan, we decided to start with the heart, as it is a symbol at the core of AMI’s history and signature. Alan keeps pushing boundaries, and I truly believe that he is the most creative jewelry designer of his generation.”
Opening up about the design of the pieces, Crocetti explains that “Both Ami and Alan Crocetti share the same ethos. One that embraces the meaning of Love. In jewelry, it is said that if you wear a ring with its front towards you it means you wear it for yourself and the opposite way to show it to someone else. With this jewelry collection, you have the hearts facing both ways conveying the idea that you got to love yourself the same way you project and give love to others.”
