Doja Cat is ready to change up her music. The singer-slash-rapper took to Twitter recently to reveal her upcoming album will be strictly R&B.

“I’m doing an R&B album,” she wrote. “Straight R&B and no rap at all.”

When it comes to music, Doja likes has no limits on what she enjoys listening to. She previously mentioned that her upcoming album is inspired by rave music. “I’m very into this ’90s German rave kind of vibe right now and it’s really fun,” she told CR Fashion Book earlier this month.

She added, “I know that’s kind of the trend at the moment but I loved that stuff as a kid and now that I can express it (obviously, I couldn’t buzz my head and wear a furry bra and have a belly button piercing back then), I’m sort of embracing that.”

However, she later revealed she was just joking. “I’m not doing a german rave culture album you, guys,” she tweeted. “I was pranking the outlet that interviewed me about it.”

Check out Doja’s tweets about her upcoming album below.
