Salehe Bembury Unveils "Mud Moss" Lugger Collab With Clarks Originals

Following a teaser back in October.

Salehe Bembury‘s first big project of the year is a collaboration with Clarks Originals — a partnership first teased back in October.

The designer took to Instagram to officially announce the release, which consists of three colorways of the “Mud Moss” Lugger. The Lugger — a different silhouette from Clarks’ bestselling Wallabee — features stitching details along the lateral side of the upper and is complete with laces.

The collaborative design is highlighted with an ultra-shaggy suede material on the top and medial side of the shoe in bold orange, green and gray. Each pair is contrasted with abstract “splash” motifs on the toe box in shades of blue, pink and black, respectively. The designs are rounded out with more prints on the collar while tonal laces are complete with a Clarks tag, along with thick crepe soles.

The release adds to Bembury’s strong roster of collaborators, which includes New Balance and Crocs. Aside from Clarks Originals, the creative also has a footwear collab with Moncler in the works.

Take a sneak peek above and below. The Salehe Bembury x Clarks Originals “Mud Moss” Lugger will release via the Spunge web store at 9 a.m. PST (12 p.m. EST) on January 20.
