Bad Bunny is making changes on social media. After receiving backlash online for throwing a fan’s phone into the water when approached on the streets of Dominican Republic, he’s made his Instagram private, deleted his tweet defending himself and changed his Twitter bio to a cryptic message.

Bad Bunny’s new Twitter bio reads as follows: “Me van a extrañar…,” which translates to “you will miss me.”

On January 2nd, he addressed the controversial phone encounter, stating his personal space was invaded. He tweeted, “The person who comes up to me to say hello, to tell me something, or just to meet me, will always receive my attention and respect. Those who come to put a freaking phone in my face, I will consider it for what it is, a disrespect, and I will treat it as is.” He added the hashtag #SinCojonesMeTiene, which is a loose translation of “I don’t give a damn.” That tweet is now deleted.

Currently, his Instagram is private. However, Twitter, Facebook and TikTok remain public.

Stay tuned for more updates.
