It Girl Label Nana Jacqueline Does Gowns Now

You’re sure to sleigh in the label’s new holiday collection.

AAPI-owned label Nana Jacqueline is all about brilliantly showcasing femininity. Founded in Los Angeles in 2016, the It girl label – known to dress everyone from Blackpink‘s Rosé, Jennie and Lisa, to Hailey Bieber – often dishes out figure-hugging silhouettes with delicate accents, channeling charm with every design. Carrying on this air of romance, the label just launched a whimsical holiday collection, titled: A Love Letter to London.

“This season marks the grand debut of our gracefully stunning gowns category. I want everyone to embrace the allure of the spotlight and join us in adorning themselves in opulent evening wear for a holiday season filled with dreamy couture,” says Jacqueline Zhang.

What could be more romantic than London during the holiday season? Twinkling lights decorate street lamps creating a warm glow, adorable Christmas markets pop up citywide, and there is an undeniable sense of wonder that lingers in the air. Founders Nana and Jacqueline wanted to encapsulate this magic with theit new collection, which includes a range of sparkly floor-length gowns, velvet mini-dresses and faux fur frocks.

Not only were the founders and besties heavily inspired by the most festive time of the year, but they also incorporated many elements of English style — à la Princess Diana, the expert at effortless grace — into the collection, too. “The collection pays homage to the enduring fashion legacy of our icon, Princess Diana. Featuring an array of power suits, bold shoulders, and dramatic evening wear, the ’80s designs are timeless and classic. London, the cherished home of Princess Diana was a natural choice for inspiration, because of the city’s regal allure of high fashion and royalty,” Zhang adds.

The luxury label kicked off the season in style by hosting an intimate evening at the Russian Tea Room on December 14, where guests dressed to the nines in the new evening gowns. Notable attendees included Tina Leung, Amy Lefevre, Laura Kim, and more.
