Over the last few years, the mullet hairstyle has been having a hot trending moment. We’ve seen many style variations from Miley Cyrus, Jenna Ortega, and now Cardi B. However, Cardi B’s take on the look may have shaken a few tables.
The star took to Instagram to show off her Roberto Cavalli sheer dress while debuting the Godiva chocolate hair update. Cultivated by celebrity hairstylist Tokyo Stylez, the hair was styled with sweeping fringe bangs in a wet finish. Blurring the lines between edgy and high-fashion editorial, Stylez created a chic sideburn illusion from the pieces of the longer strands, stamping the classic shape of the known mullet. Before anyone gets scissor-happy, Stylez confirmed that Cardi B’s hair was provided by The Wig Dealer.
In the grand scheme of things, this is a total hair moment we can stick beside the rapper for on any day. Cardi does have thick and luscious hair that’s her glory, so we doubt we’ll get a permanent ‘do, but one can dream. Catch more of the head-turning look ahead.
