Take an Official Look at Wood Wood's Salomon Collaboration
Revealed on the Danish brand’s FW23 runway at Copenhagen Fashion Week.
Wood Wood has released a new footwear collaboration with Salomon.
Last week, the Danish label showcased its Fall/Winter 2023 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week under the direction of its new designers Dominic Huckbody (Burberry and Martine Rose alum) and Cecilie Engberg (formerly at Balenciaga), debuting a partnership with the sportswear brand. The runway, which took inspiration from rave culture, was accompanied by new XT-SLATE sneakers in two colorways: “Nightshade” and “Biking Red.”
The silhouette is constructed with a sculptural mesh upper that references terrains and mountainous landscapes. “Nightshade” — a Wood Wood-exclusive colorway — arrives with a beige and black exterior complemented with a deep purple hue on the tongue and lining, while “Biking Red” comes with a gray makeup accentuated with red on the tongue.
Take a closer look at the design above. The Wood Wood x Salomon XT-SLATE “Nightshade” and “Biking Red,” priced at $201 USD a pair, are now available at Wood Wood stores. A global drop for the “Biking Red” iteration will follow on February 13.
