Bebe Rexha Announces Upcoming Album, 'Bebe'
Dropping in April.
Bebe Rexha has finally announced her third studio album, Bebe.
The singer-songwriter took to social media to share the news and unveil the LP’s artwork, which consists of a close-up of her face. A few weeks prior to announcing her forthcoming album, Rexha released the lead single from the project — “Heart Wants What It Wants,” which offers strong pop and disco vibes.
In early February, she disclosed what can be expected of her new era. “I have new music that I’m putting out in the second week of February, so I’m very excited,” Rexha told PEOPLE at the time. “It’s a blast into the ’70s. That’s why we’re doing a little bit of Farrah Fawcett.”
Rexha added, “I grew up with immigrant parents, so we didn’t really listen to ’70s music that much. We listened to Albanian music, and then I did a deep dive into the ’70s, and I was like, ‘Wait, Fleetwood Mac? Diana Ross? What’s going on?’”
Bebe drops on Friday, April 28. Check out her album announcement below.
