Ice Spice Flips the Script and Trades in Signature 'Fro for a Scarlet-Red Install

Ice Spice‘s natural straw curls have taken the music scene by storm. Starting off as a TikTok sensation, The Bronx native has quickly risen to fame most organically. Known for her witty lyrics and signature hairdo, it was quite a shocker to see her ditch her ‘fro and opt for a more elevated and grown-up hairstyle.
For a shoot with Dazed Magazine, her popping neon-orange colored curly coils were traded in for a flaming copper shade with soft, lived-in curls. This is quite a dramatic turn for the “Boys A Liar” rapper as we’re mainly used to seeing her with her luscious pixie cut ‘fro that she came onto the scene initially with. During New York Fashion Week, Ice Spice was seen sporting a chic, mod-esque silk press, so we know when the artist decides to give another look there will never be a miss — as is her most recent moment is far from now.
Most likely the latest transformation is a wig install so we can be sure that we’ll see the upcoming mogul back with her natural locks soon — but for now, we’re enjoying the view.
