Demi Lovato Releases Rock Version of "Heart Attack" for Song's 10th Anniversary
The original track appeared in her fourth studio album, ‘Demi.’
Demi Lovato is giving fans a fresh take on a throwback. The singer-slash-songwriter dropped the rock version of “Heart Attack” in honor of its 10th anniversary.
“I’m so happy to be able to give a new life to ‘Heart Attack‘ with a sound that reflects where I am with my music,” Lovato, who goes by both she and they pronouns, said in a press release.
She added, “This one is for the fans who have shown so much love to the song over the last decade, thank you for riding with me!”
The new version features new vocals and revised production. Lovato announced she was dropping the track earlier this week. “Heart Attack, but make it Rock,” she wrote on Instagram at the time.
The original version of the song is featured on the Disney Channel alum’s fourth studio album, Demi, which dropped in May 2013.
