Doja Cat Keeps It Real and Unfiltered With Instagram Selfie Featuring Acne Breakouts
Showing that there’s nothing wrong with textured skin.
Doja Cat is one of our favorite A-listers who always has no problem keeping it real. From shaving off her hair and eyebrows on Instagram live to free herself from fake societal standards to now unapologetically showing off acne-prone skin, showing that textured skin is real. We can’t help but stan.
The artist took to her Instagram Story section after winning the Most Played Artist win at the iHeartRadio Awards. While we’re proud of her for bringing home a major accomplishment, we’re gratefully stunned that she showed the “man behind the mirror,” so to say, giving us the tea of her skin IRL outside of the edited photography images we often see from those events. In the photo, it looks as if the breakouts she was experiencing had been concealed with foundation — which we’re sure is a cringe for her as beauty enthusiasts know that when you’re having breakouts, you’d prefer being makeup free.
Having recently undergone breast reduction surgery, Doja was dressed a bit more casually than we’re usually used to seeing her pop out. These life changes have been shared publicly with us stans, and we have to give kudos to her for always being so refreshingly candid with us.
