Harry Styles Wins iHeartRadio's Artist of the Year
Alongside ‘Favorite Tour Style’ *and* ‘Favorite Residency.’
The 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards took place on March 28 and saw the likes of Taylor Swift, PinkPantheress and Ice Spice in attendance alongside stars like Becky G and Bebe Rexha. While not in physical attendance, Harry Styles picked up the award for ‘Artist of the Year’ and thanked his fans via video message.
“Hi, it’s Harry. I just want to say a massive thank you to everyone at the iHeart Awards for giving me this prestigious honor, Artist of the Year,” he began. “It’s very kind of you. I’m sorry that I can’t be there with you tonight, I hope you’re all having a wonderful evening and thank you very much. Take care.”
In receiving the accolade, Styles beat out the likes of Beyoncé, Taylor Swift, Dua Lipa, Doja Cat, Jack Harlow, Drake and Lizzo — so it’s safe to say that it was a pretty big achievement. Alongside ‘Artist of the Year,’ Styles also won awards for ‘Favorite Tour Style’ and ‘Favorite Residency,’ which saw fans commemorating his Love On Tour run of shows.
Other big winners on the night included Taylor Swift, who took home awards like ‘Best Lyrics’ and ‘Song of the Year’ for her recent hit, “Anti-Hero,” alongside ‘TikTok Bop of the Year’ for “Bejeweled.” Meanwhile, in the K-pop sphere, BTS took home multiple awards for ‘Best Fan Army’ and ‘Best Music Video.’
In other Harry Styles news, the singer was recently seen kissing Emily Ratajkowski.
