Matthieu Blazy, who showcased his Fall/Winter 2023 runway for Bottega Veneta last month, is bringing the collection to China for a repeat presentation in Beijing.

Marking the creative director’s third collection for the Italian house, the collection will additionally feature new looks created specifically for the runway showcase in the Chinese capital. The event arrives as part of Bottega Veneta’s strategy to expand its presence in the country, which has involved Lunar New Year celebrations featuring a takeover of the Great Wall of China.

Bottega Veneta quietly left social media under Daniel Lee‘s direction, deactivating all of its accounts on Instagram, Twitter and more in 2021. However, just ahead of Blazy’s FW23 show last month, the brand relaunched its Weibo account, signaling a change in direction under Blazy’s helm.

Aside from news of its return to social media and repeat show in Beijing, Bottega Veneta also invited RM of BTS (real name Kim Nam-joon) to its presentation, sparking rumors of the K-pop star potentially signing as a global ambassador for the label.

Bottega Veneta’s FW23 show will take place on July 20 in Beijing.
