Etro Taps Italian Supermodel Bianca Balti for New "Vela" Bag Campaign
The first bag that Marco de Vincenzo has designed for the brand.
Etro just announced the release of Marco de Vincenzo’s first-ever bag for the brand, inspired by the “nautical world.”
Dubbed the “Vela,” the new bag has been developed with a sharp, defined silhouette and contours to “cut through the wind like a sail. Boasting a V-shaped closure and flexible zipper, the bag features an engraved Etro logo on one side of its chain, and Pegasus adorning the other — designed with the same technique utilized to mint coins.
The bag also boasts a detachable shoulder strap, allowing its wearer to style it over the shoulder or as a cross-body bag. Crafted with calfskin, the new bag is set to arrive in a classic palette of black, ivory and “Gianduja Chocolate” alongside a selection of seasonal colorways.
To celebrate the brand’s newest release, Etro teamed up with Italian supermodel, Bianca Balti, for a sultry campaign showcasing the Vela’s supple skin and curves.
