Aimé Leon Dore's Coveted New Balance 550 Collab Returns
Landing via raffle.
Aimé Leon Dore and New Balance are back to collaborating on the silhouettes that their fans love the most: the New Balance 550. After numerous collaborative takes on the clean and chunky sneaker, the design duo return with two new iterations, “Taupe” and “Brown.”
Arriving just in time for summer, the new sneakers boast a heavier suede upper, extending across to the shoe’s mid-foot, toe-box and heel. Landing in place of the silhouette’s typically leather upper, suede is paired with a canvas, hemp-like material for its remainder. Within the “Taupe” colorway, the shoe features a range of light and medium tan shades, complete with clean white accents and signature branding.
“Brown,” boasts a slightly more contrasting colorway, with its darker hue taking over the entirety of the shoe’s upper. Both pairs are finished with off-white midsoles and of course, the 550’s signature tongue tags and mid-foot embellishments, with co-branding present on the shoe’s tongue, heel and sock liner.
Take an official look at the forthcoming Aimé Leon Dore x New Balance 550s above, set to land via raffle at Aimé Leon Dore, and priced at $130 USD.
