Remember Michelle Pfeiffer‘s luxe blunt bob in the ’80s classic movie Scarface? Many cannot pull off the structure and shape of this look in 2023. However, this wasn’t the case for Florence Pugh, who recently debuted the legendary look.
Spotted at the Tiffany & Co flagship store grand re-opening party in New York, Pugh’s blunt bangs and bob is far from your mom’s Sunday morning style ahead of church services. It was a nostalgic and relevant nod to the bobs of all bobs — thee Pfeiffer look, if you will. Curated by hairstylist Peter Lux, he styled the actor’s Barbie Blonde hair into a face-framing, shoulder-length bob paired with lived-in bangs for a modern appeal. In Scarface, Pfeiffer’s bangs were bumped underneath to appease the style of the times. Pughs are more textured in the photos, but it still serves the same exact finish overall.
