The New Balance 990v6 Lands in Cream-Colored Hues
The ultimate summer sneaker has arrived.
Images of an all-new, summer-ready New Balance 990v6 have surfaced online and we must admit, we’re impressed.
Following the announcement of the brand’s 990v4 in “White/Green” and “Cream,” it appears the footwear giant is shifting its focus towards the 990v6 silhouette, this time landing in its own “Cream” iteration.
An evolution of Teddy Santis‘ MADE in USA line, the new release boasts neutral tones across its minimal upper, complete with a subtle, cream-colored hue which takes over the mesh-adorning base layer. The creamy color extends into the sneaker’s leather overlays and mudguard mid-sections, while subtle touches of silver appear amidst the signature “N” logos, tongue branding and “990” badges on the shoe’s lateral heels.
Rounding out the design is a selection of suede heel and toe tip overlays, arriving as a contrast to the minimal beige exterior. Finally, the shoe is complete with sculpted midsoles, crafted with alternating cream and beige panels to round out the subtle color palette.
Take a look at the sneaker above, set to land via New Balance and select retailers in the coming weeks.
