Doja Cat Introduces New Era With "Attention" Music Video
An empowering track about her body and sexuality.
UPDATE (June 16, 2023): Doja Cat has officially entered her new era with “Attention” — the lead single off her next album.
In the song, Doja boasts about her lady part with the following lyrics: “(Love me) It needs, it seeks affection/ (So sweet) Hungry, it fiends attention/ (Hungry) It needs, it seeks affection/ (Baby) Hungry, it fiends (Yeah, yeah).”

ORIGINAL STORY (June 14, 2023): Doja Cat has taken to social media to share a preview of her upcoming single, “Attention,” and its accompanying music video.
The clip begins with a swarm of fans screaming in excitement as the unreleased track plays in the background. Doja then appears and sings, “Look at me/ Look at me/ You looking?” Then, what appears to be a release date for the single is shown in the clip — June 16.
Last month, Doja revealed her forthcoming album will be titled First of All instead of hEllMoUth, which she had previously stated would be the name back in April. “I might just mess with everybody and completely turn the tables on them,” Doja told TIME in an interview at the time. “But I like the idea of Hellmouth because it sounds good. And it’s provocative.”
In May, she also opened up about her previous albums and how they would compare to her forthcoming music. “Planet Her and Hot Pink were cash-grabs and yall fell for it. Now I can go disappear somewhere and touch grass with my loved ones on an island while y’all weep for mediocre pop,” she tweeted at the time.
