Corteiz and Nike Said F-ck the Bots
After cancelling thousands of online bot orders, the duo are re-releasing their coveted Air Max 95 collab.
As the sneaker industry continues to battle the bots, Corteiz and Nike have come up with a new solution. Since the London-based label shut down the streets of New York with its collaboration, Corteiz’s sell-out Air Max 95s have become one of the most sought-after releases of the year.
As a result, the design duo took it upon themselves to investigate their orders and cancel thousands of online orders that appeared to be from bots. Proving that he’s nothing if not a man of the people, founder Clint419 announced a London-exclusive release for all three of the collab colorways, as a result of the order cancellations.
Additionally, Corteiz and Nike have lowered the retail price of the kicks to be €110 EUR, continuing their shared ethos of making streetwear and sneakers more accessible to the community. Corteiz is set to host the re-release launch at a special location, due to be announced on July 15.
