Summer Dips Will Feel Better in J.Kim's First-Ever Swimwear Collection

Bikinis, tankinis and one-pieces to add to your vacation rotation.

J.Kim unveils its debut swimwear and beachwear capsule collection named “Chilla.” Inspired by Uzbekistan’s scorching heatwave of the same name, the line reflects on adolescent carelessness and the fading freedom of uninhibited actions. The collection respects evolving public opinions on body coverage in public spaces.

The film Tenderness, directed by Elyor Ishmukhamedov in 1966, influences the collection’s design choices, creating a beautiful blend of fashion and storytelling. Bikinis, tankinis and one-pieces feature J.Kim’s signature petal cutouts or playful slits and knots, crafted from Global Recycle Standard-grade fabric made from recycled materials.

To cater to urban versatility, the line offers combination pieces with mesh outer layers, allowing swimwear and underwear to be covered while maintaining a lightweight feel. This also aligns with Uzbekistan’s cultural preference for modest dressing.

The influence of Tenderness is visible in mesh polo dresses, gauze button-front shirts and gauze-paneled pants and cover-ups. Two accessories, the ivory-colored J.Kim bale bag and the organza tote, complement the collection, adding beach-inspired elements and honoring the brand’s heritage.

J.Kim’s swimwear and beachwear capsule collection is now available online and in selected retailers.
