Nike's "Orange" Calm Slide Will Light Up Your Summer Footwear Rotation
Marking the silhouette’s seventh colorway so far.
Yep, you read that correctly. Nike has unveiled yet another colorway of its recently debuted Calm Slide silhouette.
Following on from the announcement of a “Rugged Orange” colorway, fusing tones of terracotta, brown and brick, the footwear giant has cooked up a more vibrant orange iteration for the summer season. Following the same minimal build, the slip-on slide features debossed Swooshes across its upper, alongside a smooth-grained texture.
The vibrant orange hue takes over the entirety of the silhouette, which features a chunky platform build alongside a lightly ridged footbed and outsole. So far, the Calm Slide has surfaced in six colorways, including the initial “Black,” “Sail,” “Sesame,” “Geode Teal” and the women’s exclusive “Jade Ice.”
Take a closer look at the “Orange” iteration above, as more and more colorways continue to get added to Nike’s Calm roster. Each colorway is set to be priced at $50 USD, and will likely be available for purchase via Nike and select retailers.
