Rihanna and A$AP Rocky have officially welcomed their second child, a baby boy, who arrived on August 3.
Rumors had started to surface about the baby’s birth a few weeks ago, but in true celebrity style, the couple has (rightfully) been enjoying their time as a family without making any formal announcements. Recently, the news was confirmed by “sources with direct knowledge” based on a report from TMZ.
Similarly, the baby’s name is currently unknown, but the same source suggests that it begins with an “R,” seemingly following in the footsteps of RiRi, Rocky and their first son, RZA — who was born back in May last year. Rihanna’s second pregnancy was first unveiled during the singer’s now-iconic halftime show at the Super Bowl LV11 in February.
Speaking about the news at the time, Rihanna had said, ‘Listen, I’m down for whatever. My wish would be I would like to have more kids but whatever God wants for me, I’m here. I’m open. Girl, boy. Whatever.”
Given that RZA’s name wasn’t revealed until a year after he was born, we don’t expect many more details to land just yet — but stay tuned for more updates.
