BLACKPINK To Take Over Roblox With Immersive Fan Experience
Offering digital fashion, choreography, interactive spaces and more.
YG PLUS, a subsidiary of YG Entertainment, is preparing to launch the fan hub “BLACKPINK THE PALACE” on Roblox. The experience aims to unite the global fanbase, known as BLINKs, through partying, dancing and band-related content, offering a digital space to collectively celebrate BLACKPINK’s music and culture.
Inside the palace, fans can engage with interactive features inspired by the band’s music videos and preferences, including digital fashion and signature choreography. Developed by metaverse studio Karta, this marks BLACKPINK’s debut immersive experience on Roblox, with regular updates for ongoing fan engagement.
The hub offers various interactive challenges, from taking photos with avatars of band members to earning in-experience currency for hosting virtual BLACKPINK-themed parties. Users can also use a BLACKPINK lightstick-shaped hammer to upgrade in-experience items. Avatars can be customized with the band’s signature attire and emulate their style and iconic choreography. Furthermore, fans participating within the first 24 hours of the launch will receive an exclusive badge for their Roblox profiles.
