Serena Williams Design Crew Gives Nike's Air Huarache a Tennis-Pro Makeover
Following Dunk Low Disrupt 2 and Air Max 1 collaborations.
Tennis legend Serena Williams is known for excelling both on and off the court and she has recently partnered with Nike for the creative endeavor known as the Serena Williams Design Crew (SWDC). Following the successful releases of the Air More Uptempo and Air Max 90 Futura earlier this year, the SWDC returns with an exciting lineup, featuring the Dunk Low Disrupt 2, Air Max 1 and the newly unveiled Air Huarache.
The spotlight now turns to the beloved Air Huarache silhouette, as SWDC reimagines this classic design with a laceless approach. The neoprene upper stands taller, embellished with the collection’s signature pattern around the collar. Primarily white, accents of teal and gold provide a court-ready touch.
While release details for the SWDC’s Nike Air Huarache remain undisclosed, the forthcoming arrival of the Dunk Low Disrupt 2 suggests that the Air Huarache will likely follow suit. Nike and select retailers will offer this collaboration at an undisclosed price point.
