Urban Decay Taps LA Sparks' Cameron Brink As Its Newest Beauty Partner
The beauty giant is renewing its commitment to the WNBA team through the 2024 season.
Urban Decay and the Los Angeles Sparks have announced that their partnership is continuing through the 2024 season, with Cameron Brink as the program’s latest ambassador. Urban Decay knows the chokehold that the WNBA has nationwide which is a testament to the power of women’s sports. According to Vox, the excitement surrounding the WNBA is due to the popularity of stars like Brink herself, Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark as well as the sport being “broadcast during primetime on a major network for the first time in years.”
During this upcoming season, the duo will also team up for the “Where Beauty Meets Game” campaign, collaborating on events at the Sparks’ home stadium, the Crypto.com Arena.
“The WNBA is experiencing a pivotal time in American culture, where women’s sports are increasingly valued, celebrated and empowered,” said Arnaud Kerviche, VP of Marketing at Urban Decay, in a press release. “The sponsorship is part of our brand’s overarching program, ‘Moments That Move Us,’ Urban Decay’s long-term commitment to dedicating resources and providing a platform for community programming that inspires change and fosters connection.” Kerviche underscores the importance of how sports, art, makeup and art intersect while discussing the mark that female athletes are leaving on the world.
