Did Tyler, the Creator Just Reveal He’s Polyamorous?
“See monogamy, that sh-t is not for me. One option for everybody? Don’t you lie to me.”
Tyler, the Creator’s highly anticipated album, Chromakopia, delivers a new alter ego and news about the artist’s dating life.
Delivering layers of surprises, the former Odd Future member first teased the album stating there would be no features — only for the album’s drop date to arrive, with no credited features, but verses from Sexyy Red, GloRilla and more.
The song “Darling, I” is slowly gaining traction across social media as the lyrics hint at the artist’s love life. “See monogamy, that sh-t is not for me. One option for everybody? Don’t you lie to me.”
He then follows up with “Everybody is different. It’s not just sex. I get different things from different people, and I want you to explore too. I don’t own you. It’s not fair just to be stuck with me.”
The lyrics have garnered an overwhelmingly positive response from listeners. “I think I just became a Tyler the Creator fan,” one user commented. “Darling, I is really the best take on polyamory I have heard in popular culture. Made me smile,” another wrote.
