Sun Day Red Is For the Ladies
A range of essentials blending golf and activewear.
Having left Nike after a 27 year journey, Tiger Woods launched a new brand with his longtime equipment sponsor TaylorMade at the beginning of 2024. The standalone brand dubbed Sun Day Red paid homage to Woods’s victory color with a leaping Tiger logo which contains 15 stripes for every major championship victory. And the brand has been off to a torrid start with early drops selling quickly and driving a secondary market on sites like eBay. However, up until this point SDR has been focused on the male market. Now that’s changed.
In a form true to the brand’s DNA, the first-ever women’s launch includes a core range of essential items which blend golf, active and lounge wear. All the items are devoid of patterns, instead opting for simple solids. Even logo application is kept to a minimum apart from a few items with tonal emblems.
The Performance Tara Polo is one of the more technical-oriented products, featuring a poly/elastane blend, a split side hem and a cropped length which touches down at the hips. The Luxe Lounge Midweight Quarter Zip is one of the more versatile pieces in the range with its fleece texture and relaxed silhouette. Finally, the Royal Lightweight Quarter Zip is a good example of what to expect from SDR’s active range. It features a hidden zipper and thumb holes and packs up easily into a personal bag.
You can check out the full range over on Sun Day Red’s website now. Pricing ranges between $75 and $150 USD.
