Vandy The Pink and Salomon Grill up a Burger-Inspired Sneaker
And it’s stacked to perfection.
Cuteness has been one of 2024’s biggest trends, but Vandy The Pinkhas always been ahead of the game — delivering burger-inspired charm through its playful apparel and footwear collections since 2017. From burger sneakers and ramen kicks, to colorful caps and animal-hooded hoodies, all of its designs have always been a feast for the eyes. Salomon just got a tasty Vandy The Pink makeover and yes, it’s inspired by a burger, too.
The design stacks up like a delicious creation, with colors and materials representing the bun, lettuce, patty and all the fixings. The shoe’s color palette draws directly from the popular dish, featuring browns, fresh greens, yellows and a hint of red. Even the fries get a shoutout, with an all-over print adorning the sock liner.
True to Salomon’s DNA, the shoe keeps things functional with breathable mesh uppers for airflow and legendary lug patterns for unbeatable traction and lightweight protection.
“I wanted to design something that’s both playful and fun for your next trail run, while still stylish enough for the streets,” says Vandy The Pink founder and designer, Vandy. “The Speedcross 3’s versatility and sleek design made it the ideal canvas for this project.”
