Everything You Need to Know About North West's Debut Album
Titled ‘Elementary School Dropout.’
North West is nothing if not her father’s child. The budding rapper is making a name for herself in the music industry as she had her debut festival performance at Rolling Loud California this past weekend.
The 10 year-old star performed her newest hit, “TALKING” to an audience of besties that already knew all the words. North danced alongside a group of her friends, donning her usual oversized black baggy T-shirt and a furry ski hat, helping her stand out. While mom Kim Kardashian cheered her daughter on the sidelines, Ye joined North on stage, possibly hinting at a feature on her upcoming album. The single, which also includes Ty Dolla $ign, is more than likely to earn a spot on the track list. Hip hop heads will also notice that her debut album’s name takes inspiration from Ye’s much loved The College Dropout.
Much like her father, North was rather mysterious when asked for details. Fellow Gen Alpha It Girl Jazzy’s World interviewed West after the show, only to get unsurprisingly vague answers. North gave an enthusiastic “maybe” when asked about a potential collaboration with her father, however, all other aspects of the album’s release were kept under wraps. Jazzy inquired about the EP’s release date to which North admitted, “I don’t know,” but reassured us that “it’s going to be great.”
