The Ordinary Dabbles in the Art World With NYC-Based Studio, Home in Heven

Transforming everyday skincare bottles into extraordinary art pieces.

The Ordinary has always stood out in the beauty market, making a name for itself with its affordable and transformative skincare. Its latest innovation pushes the boundaries of its brand identity as it unveils a never-before-seen, global collaboration with New York-based, avant-garde design studio Home in Heven.

Home in Heven is the brainchild of Peter Dupont and Breanna Box. They have an eye for the otherworldly, weaving their love to create homeware and a sense of humor, marrying originality with functionality—a match made in Heaven.

Now, take a minute to visualize. You’re walking into an opening or a gallery; what do you want to feel? It could be an embrace, an invitation or a feeling of calmness. The Ordinary seeks to embody this invitation with its audience.  It believes in people having equal access to quality skincare.

The brand’s mission is authenticity: transparency, planet and people. In a creative fusion with the NYC-based studio, they have transformed The Ordinary’s glass bottles into stunning art pieces. This one-of-a-kind exhibition showcases handcrafted vanity pieces that celebrate and elevate these bottles, says the press release. Together, they’ve birthed an illustrious and art-filled space for any beauty and art connoisseur.

This exhibition highlights The Ordinary’s visionary approach to skincare maintenance and Home in Heven’s expertise in crafting beauty from unexpected places. The concept of “imperfect beauty” refers to the unique and unconventional beauty that can be found in the most unexpected objects or materials, which Home in Heven has masterfully incorporated into their creations.

The interactive installation created by Home in Heven will be open to the public in the heart of Copenhagen from June 12 to June 14.
