Is Ice Spice About to Drop a Billionaire Boys Club Collab?
The rapper worked in the BBC warehouse back in 2020 and now it seems she’s coming full circle.
Rapper Ice Spice is about to come full circle, teasing an upcoming collaboration with Pharrell Williams‘ Billionaire Boys Club, a brand she worked for in 2020. Recently appearing on a cover story for Rolling Stone, the artist spoke about her early career, recounting all of the moments that led her to where she is today.
Speaking about some of the less glamorous career moments, Ice Spice revealed that she’d spent some time studying at New York college SUNY Purchase, dropping out at age 24 after her sophomore year. She was looking for a job at the time and then revealed that her friend (and long-term collaborator) RiotUSA had helped her out by connecting her to a vacancy at the Billionaire Boys Club warehouse in 2020.
“That was a fun-ass job though, because we was able to play music off the laptop and shit. Our boss was mad cool,” the rapper shared during the interview. When later asked about the potential of working with BBC again, Ice Spice essentially teased a new collaboration. “It’s coming. We have BBC x Ice Spice merch,” she confirmed.
