Spanish Streetwear Brands Are Having a Moment, Here's Who You Need to Know About

From NUDE PROJECT to Scuffers.

There’s something about Spanish streetwear brands that just hits different. Their playful visual style, unique photography and innovative approach to design are the reason that more and more of these labels are cropping up on our Instagram and TikTok feeds at the moment, delicately infiltrating the global streetwear market. One of the first was NUDE PROJECT, known for its regular collaborations with Playboy, along with EME Studios (the brand responsible for that signature ribbed knit sweater — you know the one.)

In the last few years, there’s been an influx of new labels entering the streetwear world, each known for their own signature products and viral pieces, tongue-in-cheek campaigns, and unisex offerings. The majority of these labels are based in vibrant cities like Barcelona and Madrid, with their growing footprint taking them all across the globe.

Scroll down to learn more about the coolest names in Spanish streetwear right now.

SSSTUFFF is one of the more experimental labels in Spain, with its two physical stores offering a pretty special immersive experience. With locations in both Madrid and Barcelona, the innovative brand reinvents the mundane aspects of life through nostalgic designs (like scratch ‘n’ sniff tees) and subversions of reality.

Late Checkout

Late Checkout is another Madrid-based label, founded in 2019 by Antón Álvarez and Alex Turrión. Drawing inspiration from a lifestyle of travel, an ever-changing hotel aesthetic is central to the brand’s visual identity. Though it primarily offering menswear silhouettes, the brand is technically unisex, offering a range of knitwear, sweats, trousers and tees.
