Futurewise Drops New Cleanser That Will Melt Your Face Off
The fifth product in the brand’s lineup.
Futurewise, the slugging skincare brand that believe in barrier health as the first step in your skin health journey, has just released its latest and fifth product, Face Melt. The brand’s already got Slug Boost, Slug Cream and Slug Balm in its line-up, but a cleanser with powerful ingredients that provide a deep cleanse and maximum barrier protection is the latest brainchild of co-founders Julie Schott and Brian Bordainick.
Made with vitamin E, rose myrtle, sunflower seed oil and squalane, this new cleansing balm works to get rid of your skin’s impurities without leaving your skin barrier weak and unprotected. “The blend of conditioning oils dissolves sunscreen, makeup, and grime without stripping the skin barrier. The result is a thoroughly clean and soft complexion that’s ready for the rest of your routine,” the brand said in a press release.
Futurewise has also just dropped Lip Slug, an overnight lip mask that can be used to deliver maximum moisture overnight. Bonus points for its delicious strawberry milk flavor.
The brand suggests placing Face Melt onto skin that is dry and rubbing the product in using circular motions. When the balm turns into an oil, it’ll begin to break down your wear and tear of the day like makeup, sunscreen and pollution. You can also incorporate water to emulsify the formula. Futurewise also advises to follow up this step with a water-based cleanser to get a deep clean.
Face Melt from Futurewise retails for $19 USD and is now available at Walmart.
