Glenn Martens Steps Down From Y/Project

After an incredibly impactful 11 years.

After an extremely productive 11 year tenure at Y/Project, Glenn Martens has chosen to step down as creative director.

In a statement from the brand, Y/Project credited Martens for creating a “fascinating narrative for the brand, leading to an impressive period of growth, earning both critical acclaim and commercial success.”

The statement also added, “Glenn Martens thanks Y/Project and Gilles Elalouf, the late CEO of the brand who tragically passed away last June, for giving him the support and freedom to express his vision while expanding on the creative artistry that the label established.”

Since the beginning of his journey in 2013, Martens has made a remarkable impact on the brand, going beyond mere experimentation from collaborations with Jean Paul Gaultier to team ups with Charli XCX and Mia Khalifa. At Y/Project, he redefined conventional norms, shaping it into the distinctive label we admire today.

Stay tuned for the latest updates on Glenn Martens’ next move.
