Chopova Lowena Just Extended Its Fragrance World

The brand is adding new 50mL bottles to its range.

After entering the fragrance world with three debut perfumes and sending them down the SS26 runway, Chopova Lowena is extending its scent range to include smaller, 50mL versions of its playful perfumes. The brand, known for its flirty yet rebellious signature aesthetic, launched the perfumes as an ode to the Chopova Lowena girl — with nods to its Bulgarian heritage and the founders’ personal ties to the raw ingredients.

When conceptualizing the scents, creative directors Emma Chopova and Laura Lowena-Irons referenced their own childhood memories and the evocative notes that epitomize Chopova Lowena’s punky ethos. “With the perfumes, we wanted to make beautiful, wearable scents our way,” Chopova and Lowena-Irons say in a press release. “Each scent is textured and delicate, but not precious, meant to be worn daily, spritzed on blouses and scarves and tied to new memories with friends and loved ones.”

Of the three perfumes, “Queen Rosa, Rosa is Queen” is a flirty floral with bergamot, pink pepper and Bulgarian rose. On the other hand, “Hay Zhasmina!” is warm and woody, with notes of jasmine, fennel and ylang-ylang. Meanwhile, the outdoorsy “Green Root, Green Ruth” is infused with saffron, nutmeg and Bulgarian geranium. Referencing nostalgic video games, each perfume coincides with its own distinct persona — complete with personality traits and an adorable pet. Beyond both sizes of the perfumes, the scent collection also includes hand-poured candles encased in Bulgarian ceramics and a tester trio.

The 50 mL versions of “Queen Rosa, Rosa is Queen,” “Hay Zhasmina!” and “Green Root, Green Ruth” retail for $115 USD and are available for purchase at Dover Street Market.
