PUMA and Swarovski Are Dropping Crystal-Covered Kicks

The newest Speedcat is covered in over 5,000 crystals in honor of Swarovski’s 130th anniversary.

Everyone knows that diamonds are a girl’s best friend, and we’d argue sneakers are a close second. But now, you don’t have to choose because PUMA and Swarovski just joined forces to deliver the ultimate collision of sparkle and sport with their new limited-edition Speedcat sneaker, dripping (literally) in crystals.

Originally introduced in 1999, the signature Speedcat silhouette gets a high-shine makeover with a coat of 5,316 black Swarovski Crystals, each carefully applied in varying sizes by expert artisans from the Austrian luxury house. This is far from your average DIY job. The precision and craftsmanship behind every crystal placement transform the archival motorsport-inspired silhouette into a statement piece that feels as glam as it does lowkey.

Balancing all the shimmer is a clean, black upper and matching sole, the perfect contrast for whether you’re off to a party or powering through your commute. With its sleek lines and luxe finish, the sneaker captures the essence of both brands; PUMA’s sportswear legacy meets Swarovski’s refined opulence. Even the packaging gets the designer treatment, arriving in a minimalist box subtly stamped with the Swarovski and PUMA logos, reminiscent of fine jewelry packaging because the shoes are basically wearable gems. The unique collaboration reflects a shared commitment to sports, craftsmanship and that little bit of extravagance. This is for those who like their streetwear with a little bit of sparkle.

The Swarovski x PUMA Speedcat will be available from October 24 via the Swarovski website and select stores.
