Poppi and JaNa Craig Say Hi to Spelman College With Sweet Sips
In honor of homecoming season, the buzzy brand and ‘Love Island USA’ Season 6 star treated students to free, fizzy fun.
The fun never ends for prebiotic soda brand poppi. On Friday, October 17, poppi continued its four-stop college series, the Major Flavor Tour – a tasting series of the brand’s best-selling sodas and so much more – at the illustrious Spelman College. As part of Spelman’s student government-sponsored program Market Fridays and HBCUs’ homecoming season, poppi set up an activation for students all day long. While Spelman students, along with all attendees of Atlanta University Center (AUC), were treated to free merch and fizzy drinks, they were all surprised with an appearance from Love Island USA Season 6 star JaNa Craig.
An hour into the day of fun under the Atlanta sun, Craig stepped foot onto campus to the delight of the campus. AUC attendees, including Morehouse College and Clark Atlanta University students, gathered for photos with one-third of “PPG,” short for the Powerpuff Girls nickname Craig shares with her castmates Leah Kateb and Serena Page, while raving about poppi’s juicy flavors. In the video below, the 28-year-old joins students – including Spelman College’s Jaguarettes and poppi’s college ambassadors – to give us the scoop on the brand’s sweet drinks.

Craig’s appearance at Spelman follows another Love Island USA star’s cameo at a college in partnership with poppi. Just two weeks ago, Amaya Espinal – or Amaya Papaya – Season 7 winner, was at Penn State University to celebrate her own signature soda, Island Colada, with Gen-Z’s go-to beverage brand. The fun for college students across the country doesn’t stop at Spelman as poppi prepares to head to the University of Arkansas and Indiana University to close out the semester.
