Leah Kateb Unveils a New Perfume Inspired by Her Persian Heritage
“True Love’s Cake” is Skylar’s newest fragrance.
Love Island USA‘s Leah Kateb is continuing to make her mark at Skylar with the launch of her third fragrance for the brand. The new “True Love’s Cake” perfume draws inspiration from a Persian legend passed down through Kateb’s family. Following the success of “Double Dates” and “Pomegranate Princess,” the scent is said to be Kateb’s most personal release yet.
“They say if you bake a Persian Love Cake for someone, they’ll fall in love with you. I wanted to capture that same sweetness and magic in a fragrance you can wear: magnetic, enchanting and obviously romantic. May it bring all the love into your world,” Kateb says in a press release.
When it comes to the romantic gourmand scent itself, it first opens with rosewater, plum nectar and cardamom before blooming into orange blossom honey, damask rose and cherry blossom, then settling into a warm dry down of almond cake, caramelized pistachio and sandalwood. Just like its predecessors, “True Love’s Cake” is vegan, cruelty-free, hypoallergenic and safe for sensitive skin.
“True Love’s Cake” retails for $96 USD for a 50ml eau de parfum and will be available for purchase at Sephora on June 15.
