Daisy Edgar Jones Leads Gucci's "Lido" Campaign

Inspired by Italy’s coastal lidos and the spirit of summer.

Gucci‘s new “Lido” campaign has landed at the perfect time. As we bask in the glow of the approaching summer sunshine, the new release acts as the ultimate moldboard. Celebrating the spirit of summer, its long days, bright hues and slower pace, the campaign takes inspiration from Italy’s coastal lidos.

Starring Daisy Edgar-Jones, Aliocha Schneider and David Jonsson, the campaign is lensed by Jim Goldberg and results in a slew of candid stills complete with hand-written reflections. Together, the campaign is a visual narrative of scenes, transporting its viewer from the Mediterranean coastline to a serene garden villa.

“Lido” showcases the spontaneous moments of a summer getaway, from tranquil boat rides to friends reuniting. At the heart of it, of course, is the latest collection from Gucci, which includes signatures like the Gucci Softbit, GG Marmont and Bamboo 1947, arriving in breezy, summer textures like raffia, wicker and crochet.

Elsewhere, “Lido” highlights the new suede Gigi Loafers, Gucci Re-Web sneaker and a selection of new Gucci eyewear and jewelry.

Take a look at the new “Lido” campaign above and head to the brand’s website for more information on the collection.
