Luna Blaise Showcases Hunza G's New Gingham Collection

Crafted from an all-new UPF 50+ seersucker fabric.

Hunza G just dropped its new Gingham collection, crafted from a new UPF 50+ seersucker fabric. Reimagining the brand’s classic crinkle with a super sweet gingham design, the seasonal offering also includes a range of ready-to-wear styles. Featuring swimsuits, halter tops, sarong sets, long-sleeved shirts, minidresses and shorts, the collection lands in hues of black, red and “Milkshake” pink.

To celebrate the new launch, Hunza G tapped American actor Luna Blaise to debut the collection, captured in Quintana Roo, Mexico. “I can’t imagine a more perfect wardrobe for summer. I love being able to mix and match the pieces and create different looks. You can wear the textured gingham right from the ocean to the grocery store. I haven’t been able to take it off since the photoshoot,” Blaise says in a release.

The collection marks a pretty big moment for the brand, particularly in terms of its growing ready-to-wear offering, plus evolving its signature crinkle fabric. Sourched from Italian manufacturers, the fabric is ultra-lightweight, quick-drying and UV protective — an admittedly pretty rare combination.

“We really wanted to create a collection that felt true to the codes we stand by as a brand. The collection is versatile and functional, whilst still looking stylish, and plays on texture with tactile, lightweight seersucker. The gingham pieces dry on the body in minutes and have a protective sun component. You can swim in the clothing pieces and sit at lunch in the same items – dry minutes later. It’s swimmable ready-to-wear,” said Georgiana Huddart, Founder and Creative Director of Hunza G.

Take a look at the new collection above, with the black and white colorways available for purchase now via Hunza G. The red and white iterations will launch in May, followed by “Milkshake” in June.
