Gigi Hadid is back with havaianas, this time returning as creative director of her own capsule collection. Taking inspiration from the ever-iconic pin-up aesthetic and old-school glamor, the new collection transports Hollywood glamor to a beachside setting.
Bringing a retro charm to havaianas silhouettes, the new collection features sunset hues and beach-inspired prints, with creative direction courtesy of Hadid herself. The model also contributed to the design of the collection, blending her distinctive aesthetic with havaianas’ signature silhouettes — including the brand’s Top and Slim Square styles.
“As a lifelong fan of the brand, coming in as the creative director of my own havaianas capsule collection has been so much fun – my 15-year-old self would be jumping up and down!” Hadid said in a press release. “What’s great about working with such an iconic, globally recognized product is that you get to celebrate what you love about it, while deciding what your own touch will be,” she adds.
