Gustaf Westman and Mercedes-Benz join forces for the second Class of Creators installment. The initiative taps creatives across all industries, from Ice Spice, to now, Westman.
Launching May 23, the collaboration delivered the prettiest pink Mercedes-Benz CLA. The pastel ride is impossible not to fall in love with as it features a “rooftop tent, a fold-out picnic table and reworked wing mirrors” to accompany all of your summer needs. But it’s not just a car — it’s an art piece.
According to the press release, “The project merges Mercedes-Benz’s design language with Westman’s signature chunky aesthetic; soft lines, saturated color and impractical yet necessary functions.” Westman also created a capsule collection of Benz-branded moments to continue the hype. The collection includes key pieces from the CLA installation, such as The Star Plate that cleverly separates your food, The Wing Mirror, The Chunky Picnic Blanket and a playful Hot Dog Plate. Each pastel pink item can be used for your summer adventures.
The press release continues, “Gustaf is the second of five global collaborators in the Mercedes-Benz Class of Creators series; a multi-disciplinary project inviting artists, designers, musicians and gamers to reimagine the CLA through their creative lens.”
