KOBA Is Redefining Skincare With Ancestral Tradition

All of the brand’s products are formulated with the African safou fruit.

Driven by the desire to simplify skincare, KOBA is implementing the safou fruit into its portfolio of creams, soaps and balms. By emphasizing the hero ingredient, KOBA is hoping to bring ancestral beauty practices to the masses — all while delivering vegan products and sustainable packaging.

When it comes to hydration, KOBA’s products work overtime to repair dry skin and naturally improve texture. Of course, this is accomplished by safou oil, which the brand recognizes as “a unique natural vegetable oil sourced in Central and Western Africa.” Although safou oil is a staple of KOBA’s products, the brand offers a wide range of skincare and body care products to address a variety of concerns.

For skincare, KOBA’s lineup includes fan-favorites like the Safou Sorbet Cleansing Balm which melts makeup in a pinch, the Light It Up Hydrating Face Cream for reducing shine, the Feeling Myself Lip Balm to nourish lips and the Soak Me Up Soap Bar which cleanses skin while it exfoliates.

Thankfully, KOBA also understands the importance of body care — and it’s evident in its expansive catalog of products specifically formulated for the body. The brand has you covered from head to toe, with the Bottom Up Foot Cream serving as a sure-fire way to remedy cracked feet and dry heels. Not to mention, there’s tons of creams and lotions for everything in between — including the multi-use Gold Drip Nourishing Body & Hair Oil for that gorgeous glow.

KOBA’s products range from $14 – $95 USD and are available for purchase on the brand’s website.
