Sézane and New Balance Launch Their First-Ever Collab

Reimagining the 471 Sneaker with raw edges and retro hues.

French luxury meets classic American in the first-ever collab with Parisian luxury brand Sézane and New Balance. Reimagining the 471 model, the brands deliver a gorgeous Fall-inspired color palette, packaged up in a retro silhouette.

The limited-edition sneaker features a sleek, low-profile and wedge-shaped midsole that channels a distinctly ’70s-inspired aesthetic. The colorway also echoes this with rich natural tones of burnt orange, navy and brown that are the perfect earthy hues for the Fall season. You’ll also find a roughly stitched motif that adds texture to the upper, echoing that vintage vibe that Sézane is so well known for.

The shoe is perfectly designed to pair with Sézane’s collection of blouses, retro denim and vintage-inspired jackets, channeling its timeless identity made for everyday ease. “With New Balance, we wanted to design a sneaker that carries the effortless spirit of the Parisian wardrobe: refined, versatile and ready to follow from morning to late night,” shared Morgane Sézalory, founder of Sézane. The brand has only been around since 2013, but its distinctly elegant and old-school feel has brought international appeal, and we can’t wait to style these new kicks with selvedge denim and a white tee.

The sneaker will launch exclusively in the U.S. on October 3 and globally on October 5 via the Sézane website and will be available on the New Balance website from October 16.
