Nike Just Dropped a Nostalgia-Infused Shox Z Sneaker

With a campaign featuring Aryna Sabalenka.

Nike just dropped your new go-to sneaker. Introducing the Shox Z, a sleek and sporty silhouette with a disruptive edge, designed to match pretty much all of your wardrobe.

Taking its design DNA from the Shox of the early 2000s, the shoe now comes in a lower, more flexible fit that is designed for all-day wear. It will comfortably take you from your morning run to the office to the club, and most importantly, keep you looking good while you do it all. A modern take on the nostalgia-infused silhouette, the colorways range from fluorescent yellow to muted cream and a stylish brown and pink combo. This is one for both the fashion girlies and the sports girlies.

Nike’s OG Shox technology is used to deliver the ultimate cushioning, combined with a soft, expressive upper that adds a contemporary edge with “Z” branding and a sleek jewel finish. The sneaker also offers superior durability and grip through its innovative outsole geometry, giving it that extra level of performance ability, ready to cover you for anything that might come your way.

The first campaign for the shoe features tennis superstar Aryna Sabalenka. In a press release, the athlete shares, “The Shox Z makes me feel super powerful and high-fashion. When I’m off the court, I like to mix and match more elevated pieces in my wardrobe.” Sabalenka also wore the sneakers to accept her second consecutive US Open trophy earlier this year, stating, “They look good with everything!” We can’t wait to try these.

The Shox Z are now available in China via the Nike website and will launch globally throughout the upcoming season.
