OpéraSPORT
OpéraSPORT kicked off the season with a sultry FW26 collection dubbed “Venice by Night.” Taking inspiration from the “quiet opulence” of the city after dark, the brand also referenced H.C. Andersen’s writings about Venice for the collection, presenting a poetic reimagining through design. The refined collection was rooted in classic black and white hues, paired with subtle pops of pale pink, brooding violet and dark khaki. The guest of honor, Alana Hadid, walked the runway in a chic buttoned blazer paired with a brown leather skirt, a ruffled pink bag and ochre-colored boots.
Forza Collective
Forza Collective‘s colorful, sheer looks made a triumphant return this season, with the collection as a whole rooted in the “Baroque” period, which designer Kristoffer Kongshaug took inspiration from. Reimagining early 17th and mid-18th century looks with ’90s touches, the vibrant collection brought a playful, feminine touch to the runways.
Bonnetje
Bonnetje‘s “Cadavre Exquis” collection was all about the process. Favoring deconstructed vintage garments and upcycled accessories, FW26 explored themes of “dialogue, intuition and ideas.” Shirt collars transformed into bodysuits, reconstructed leathers and small functional objects turned into kitschy design details, the collection was filled with playful details and a unique take on process as the main attraction.
Anne Sofie Madsen
Anne Sofie Madsen continued her animal exploration this season through a unique collaboration with UGG. Customizing four key silhouettes, each shoe was accessorized by fun details like monster claws, ribbons and bows and belt buckles. Titled “Ghostly Matters,” the collection itself explored the concept of a “lost future,” favoring shapewear and its smoothing and compressing of the human body.
Holzweiler
Holzweiler returned to Copenhagen an impressive 16 years after their runway debut. Filling this season’s “Homecoming” slot, which last season saw Cecilie Bahnsen celebrate its 10th anniversary, the celebratory collection looked back to the brand’s roots. “Coming back to Copenhagen Fashion Week feels very personal to us. Copenhagen is where our international journey first took shape. Returning here feels like more than just showing a new season – it feels like coming back to an important chapter of our story – allowing us to reconnect with our extended creative community and the Scandinavian values that have always shaped who we are,” said Creative Director, Maria Skappel Holzweiler.
Baum und Pferdgarten
Baum und Pferdgarten, meanwhile, looked to the skies for its inspiration this season. Titled “Airborne,” the FW26 collection took inspiration from the pioneering aviator Amelia Earhart, celebrating her personal style and spearheading spirit. “Inspired by Amelia Earhart, we explored how uniforms originally designed for a masculine approach can exist alongside elegant and sophisticated wearers. The collection brings together strength and sensitivity, using utilitarian silhouettes softened by fluid fabrics and expressive details,” explained creative directors Rikke Baumgarten and Helle Hestehave.
