Marc Jacobs
Marc Jacobs showed its FW26 collection with an off-schedule show that marked a new era for the brand. A far cry from its usual doll-like beauty looks and exaggerated accessories, FW26 took a different, more subtle approach. Titled “Memory. Loss,” the collection explored how memories shape and inform us, revisiting its past influences and how they’ve shaped and informed what the brand is today. Praised for its new direction, the playful collection revisited classic silhouettes in clashing colorways, exaggerated hem-lines and retro-inspired styling.
Coach
Coach held its FW26 showcase in downtown New York City, presenting its signature staples with an edgier twist. Sitting front row were the likes of Odessa A’zion, Quen Blackwell, Storm Reid and Elle Fanning, bringing together the brand’s past and present muses. Seemingly inspired by skate culture and the seventies, the casual collection offered a masterclass in layering, easy styling and subcultures as inspiration.
Collina Strada
Collina Strada’s guest list is always a big one, and this season did not disappoint. Major names like JT, Tove Lo, Icona Pop and BB Trickz attended the designer’s NYFW showcase, along with Tommy Dorfman, Ella Emhoff and Delilah Belle. The collection itself featured Victorian-inspired lace collars, exaggerated shoulders and bubble hems paired with disheveled hairstyles, grungy plaid and plenty of ruching.
As part of the show, the designer also debuted a new collaboration with KEEN, reimagining the brand’s Targhee and Jasper styles. “Our aim was to make a shoe that portrayed part sculpture, part sneaker, and part fantasy. It’s not just about walking through the world—it’s about leaving a beautiful, conscious footprint behind,” explained the designer in a press release.
Jane Wade
Jane Wade‘s FW26 showcase was an homage to her home in Oregon, exploring the journey she took to get here. Taking inspiration from the great outdoors, the collection was rooted in expedition motifs, ranging from paracords and bungee pulls to fully-fledged tents. Debuting a new collaboration with Sorrel, the show looks were complete with calf-hair boots and brightly colored sneakers. Overall, the show acted as a breath of fresh air, taking gorp-maxxing to a whole new level.
Sandy Liang
This season, the Sandy girl took inspiration from Marie Antoinette, transporting guests through her palace gardens, barns and bedrooms. For FW26, Liang’s collection honed in on details like Antionette’s slippers and her grandma’s apron and took inspiration from the Studio Ghibli movie Kiki’s Delivery Service. Exploring the duality of and relationship between fantasy and reality, this season evolved the brand’s affinity for girlhood.
AWGE
A$AP Rocky made his runway return for AWGE this season, presenting the brand’s third collection in Manhattan. Debuting a new PUMA partnership, the collection showcased a personal evolution for Rocky, drawing on his experience of becoming a father, and as a result, introducing a distinct “dadhood” influence throughout the designs.
Cult Gaia
Cult Gaia‘s FW26 showcase opened with a recording of the designer’s grandmother, singing a song by Marzieh. Already setting the scene of the collection, the powerful music represented themes of memory, celebration and endurance. Titled “Shirzan,” which translates to “Lioness” in Farsi, the collection explored traditional techniques, showcasing hand-crocheted raffia, intricate beadwork and stone embellishments. Attended by the likes of Pete Davidson, Becky G and Lukas Gage, the collection was an homage to heritage.
Private Policy
Taking place just before Lunar New Year celebrations, Haoran Li’s Private Policy FW26 aimed to highlight the Asian Americans responsible for building the transcontinental railroads. Paying homage to Asian design and its poignant influences, the collection acted as a reminder of the community’s potency and power, celebrating its traditional workwear and signature red hues. Guests were also given a takeout container of noodles and branded chopsticks on entry, offering a playful nod to Chinese cuisine.
Kim Shui
Attended by the likes of Leah Kateb, Azzy Milan, Joey Badass and Amaya “Papaya,” Kim Shui FW26 took guests on a journey around the East River. Fusing vibrant prints and traditional Chinese techniques, the decadent collection reimagined classic Chinese outfits with a playful twist, pairing gold and silver accents with daring cut-outs, tassel-like embellishments and matching sets.
