Gap and Summer Fridays Want You To Stay In

Barbie Ferreira proves that a Friday night at home can be just as fun as a night on the town.

Colder months call for cozy staples, and this new collaboration is giving you just that. Gap teamed up with beauty brand Summer Fridays for its first-ever apparel collection, launching a curated selection of essentials for you to snuggle up in this winter. Classic comfort and easy design take center stage with pieces that make us want to climb straight into bed.

Gap’s timeless silhouettes are paired with Summer Fridays’ Southern California aesethic manifesting in soft knits, matching pajama sets and cute accessories. Here, every item treats self-care as the ultimate form of self-expression. Grab your face mask, matcha and matching PJs, because this is about to get good.

You’ll find loungewear staples in Summer Fridays’ classic tones of “Pink Sugar”, “Cherry”, “Vanilla” and the signature “Jet Lag Mask blue”. Other highlights include sweatshirts, hoodies and joggers designed to mix and match alongside flannel pajamas in playful prints. And it wouldn’t be a beauty brand collab without a headband to wear while doing your makeup or skincare routine.

Lauren Ireland, co-founder of Summer Fridays, shared, “We’ve always thought of Summer Fridays as a feeling and our collaboration with Gap carries that ethos into a clothing collection, merging fashion and beauty in an unexpected yet familiar way.” This is the ultimate fashion-meets-beauty crossover.

The collection comes to life through a playful campaign film that reimagines the act of getting ready… to have a night in. Featuring Barbie Ferreira, we see effortless moments of comfort and confidence as she goes about her routine. Shot by director Charlie Di Placido and photographer Leoor Wild, the campaign celebrates the laid-back essence of the capsule and proves that a Friday night at home can be just as fun as a night on the town.

The collection is now available to buy via the Gap website.
