Here's What We Know About BLACKPINK's New Mini Album, "Deadline"

A comeback worth waiting for.

Calling all Blinks: after years of solo projects and HBO Max acting gigs, Jennie, Jisoo, Rosé and Lisa are getting the band back together. BLACKPINK just announced Deadline, a new mini album and the girl group’s first project since Born Pink in 2022. Set to release shortly after their Deadline World Tour ends, K-pop royalty has come to reclaim their throne.

Deadline is the group’s third mini album, following Square Up and Kill This Love. Though no official tracklist has been released, the project is set to include BLACKPINK’s most recent single “Jump.”

The BLACKPINK comeback has been a long time coming, with fans eagerly awaiting a major group project for almost four years. Coinciding with the group’s ten-year anniversary, Deadline comes at a perfect time, giving the girls a chance to reflect on and celebrate their global success in the best way possible: music. 2026 just started, but BLACKPINK has officially made this their year.

The album has an official release date of February 27, arriving one month after its namesake tour ends. With over a month to go before the new music is available for purchase and streaming, expect more teasers, promo and an exciting tracklist in the near future.

In other news, Harry Styles is also making his music comeback with a new album.
